When I see that girl I fancied
And Notice the new bloke she’s stringing along
I guess that last one was a one-night thing
And realise that this is youth…
These young girls out
Wearing belts for bottoms
Not feeling the cold on bare legs
Under their Skirts
Pubs and clubs becoming a modern day mating ground
And no one bothers with rock and roll
Or decent music and that
They’re far to busy now…
And rather than words comes the thought of Double Glazed windows
Or rather the space in between
Seeing both sides
Not knowing which grass is green
Trapped in the space in between two window panes
Not knowing which is dirty and which is clean…
